Hitchin MP Bim Afolami finally issues opinion in Boris Johnson confidence vote

Hitchin's Parliamentarian Bim Afolami has finally revealed in public how he will vote in tonight's crucial ballot on the future of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Despite repeated requests from Hitchin Nub News over the last week, including a number of representations throughout today (Monday, June 6) Mr Afolami had remained tight-lipped on the matter.

However, our town's MP revealed his political stance on social media this evening.

In a terse message posted on his official Twitter account Mr Afolami said: "PM has my full support."

Throughout the day Nub News readers reacted with contempt and disdain for his lack of a response.

Earlier today, Labour's 2019 PPC Kay Tart slammed the MP for his dithering, while the Liberal Democrats candidate for the next General Election, Sam Collins urged Mr Afolami to put his constituents first, rather than his career.
