A pool competition organised by Katie Wilson brought a fantastic night of sport and community spirit to Hitchin Pool Hall, raising an impressive £260 for Hertfordshire Mind.

The event was the second successful charity tournament hosted at the venue this year, building on the momentum of the earlier competition to bring local players and supporters together for a great cause.

Special thanks go to Daniel and the entire team at Hitchin Pool Hall for their hospitality, warm welcome, and hard work in hosting another memorable night. Their continued backing ensured the event ran smoothly from start to finish.

Alongside the action on the tables, excitement ran high with a massive charity raffle featuring over 20 prizes generously donated by local businesses and regional attractions. Highlights among the prizes included family passes for Mulligans, passes for the Nene Valley Railway, two rounds of golf at Letchworth Golf Club, afternoon tea at The Queen of Hearts in Redbourn, and a Discover London open-top bus and cruise package for two, alongside generous contributions from The Millstream, Pots of Art, and many other local supporters.

Katie expressed her heartfelt thanks to Daniel, the staff at Hitchin Pool Hall, every business that donated a prize, and all the players and attendees whose support helped secure a fantastic final fundraising total for local mental health services.
