Have your say on policing priorities for Hitchin Rural

Is there an area of concern that you'd like your local policing team to focus on in Hitchin Rural?

Now's the time to let us know as we ask residents to help the Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT) in Hitchin Rural (which covers the wards of Knebworth, Codicote, Hitchwood, Offa, Hoo, Kimpton and Chesfield) set their next round of local policing priorities.

SNTs work alongside local partners, to focus on solving long and short-term neighbourhood issues, such as anti-social behaviour, speeding, criminal damage and drug related crime.

Feedback from members of the public plays a huge part in the decision making and information provided via the Constabulary's community voice platform 'echo' is used to help shape the priorities, as well as OWL surveys being sent to those already signed up.

You can give your views now via echo https://bit.ly/police-hitchinrural before Thursday 19 October.

Hitchin Rural Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant Taz Gill said: "Feedback from members of the public is vital to ensure that local policing resources are focusing on the issues that matter most to them.

"Please do use the echo or OWL methods to let us know your views as they really do make a difference.

"If we know about issues, we can work to tackle them alongside local communities and our partners, including local councils."
