The draw for the EFL Trophy Group stage has taken place this morning, Thursday (June 22).

Former Portsmouth and Lincoln boss Danny Cowley and ex-Hull City star Michael Dawson made the draw live on Sky Sports News.

AFC Wimbledon and Wycombe Wanderers had already been placed in Southern Group C alongside Steve Evans' side, prior to the draw.

Newly-promoted Stevenage will also play Crystal Palace's U21 academy side in the group stages.

The draw capped a busy morning for Steve Evans' Stevenage, who also found out their League One fixtures earlier today for the 2023-24 forthcoming season.

Boro, who beat Arsenal U21s 3-2 as well as Spurs U21s 1-0 in the same competition last term will be announcing Lamex ticket details in due course.
