The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations will take place over a bumper bank holiday weekend of fun at the start of June.

Community events have been organised across the nation to mark the occasion as Elizabeth II reaches 70 years on the throne – the first time in British history a monarch has reached such a long-serving milestone.

Hitchin will have its fair share of events was our community comes together to celebrate as Nub News has previously reported.

But how will you be decorating your shop, office, business or home for The Queen's Platinum Jubilee - we'd love to find out so please do send us your pictures.

In the meantime as you can see by our town's inimitable Felix Camfield-Walker, his renowned Farley's Hair Salon on Hermitage Road is sporting an iconic look.
