This is a community event where we (settle) will share our new way of working and the next steps in the regeneration plan

6pm until late

Hitchin Hard Half Marathon, 10K and 5K

Hitchin's oldest road race - the Hard Half Marathon returns on Sunday June 26, 2022 with the 5K and 10K. Something for everyone.

Entry is open now at h3m.co.uk All courses are circular with the start/finish in Priory Park.

All routes go out via Charlton, The Half goes up to Preston and Lilley Bottom road and then returns; the 10K goes upto Preston and back via Gosmore and the 5K goes via Maydencroft lane.

The Half is a hilly course but most runners can do it in around 2.25 hours.

The 10K and Half both take on Offley Holes Hill.

The Platinum Jubilee: A Royal Display in Hitchin

To celebrate 70 years of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's reign, we are presenting a display of royal memorabilia, including paintings by Hitchin banner maker Herbert Sharpe of the Queen and Prince Philip commissioned for her coronation, photographs of royal visits to the area and other royal memorabilia. 

This exhibition is in The Arches, part of The Terrace Gallery. Runs to July 31

Paddington: The Story of a Bear

The brilliant touring exhibition from the British Library, Paddington: The Story of a Bear, is now at North Herts Museum until June 26. Follow his trail of marmalade splats to explore his tales of adventures in this educational, fun and free exhibition

Don't forget the brilliant Todd in the Hole family festival returns next month after two years lost to the pandemic.

The Todd Team have been working hard to bring a stellar line up to next years festival including, The Killerz, Amy Winehouse – A Tribute, Wham George Michael Tribute, Wrong Jovi, Mused, Dave Pearce, Pat Sharp plus loads more. Ending the weekend in style on the Main Stage will be the legendary Martin Kemp and his Back to the 80's DJ Set.

Martin has been selling out across the country and with a reputation for huge singalongs on this rollercoaster ride through a trailblazing decade for pop music, the Sunday night at Todd promises to be one to remember.
