Stevenage have been chosen to appear live on Sky Sports

Steve Evans side have impressed this season with their intensity and never-say-die attitude, along with spells of vibrant, attacking play that has lifted the Lamex outfit to the heady heights of second place in League Two.

Their eye-catching play has now been rewarded with national recognition in the form of a Sky Sports match, with their trip to Leyton Orient in December chosen to be broadcast live.

Boro's selection on Sky sees the fixture move from 3pm on Boxing Day to 1230pm on Tuesday, December 27.

The teams are currently in first and second spot in League Two, with Evans boosting the club by leading their best-ever start to an EFL season.

Boro drew 2-2 at Orient last season days before former boss Paul Tisdale was sacked, prior to the arrival of Evans.
