Stevenage return to league action this week following the death of the monarch.

Steve Evans Boro host Newport County at The Lamex Stadium in League Two on Tuesday (September 13) 7.45pm.

All Premier League and EFL matches were postponed at the weekend as a mark of respect to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

Stevenage reacted to the death of the Queen by releasing a statement that said: "Everyone at Stevenage Football Club is saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts are with the Royal family at this difficult time."

However, with the Third Test match, rugby matches and other sports being played over the weekend, football authorities have agreed the EFL should return.
