Mechanical Design Engineer (Senior to Principal)

Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: Up to 55,000 (depending on experience)

They are looking for Mechnical Design Engineers from all levels to join the team, working on a variety of complex weapons and weapons systems while collaborating with wider multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements:

  • Degree or HND/HNC in Mechcanical Design
  • Experience in Mechanical Design and devlopment in on of these areas: Mehanisms, Structures, Assembly and Integration, Concept down selection and development.
  • Ability to lead Mechanical Design work packages and have experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Robust design experience across the Product Life Cycle (CADMID)
  • Verbal and written communication skills, with ability to negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of structural/thermal/dynamic analysis would be advantgerous.
  • 3D CAD/CAE experience.
