Company description:

We are working with an established company who specialise in food manufacturing. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join their team for circa £50,000.

Duties and responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician:

  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Maintain all high-speed plant machinery
  • Liaise with suppliers to order spares and parts
  • Attending to reactive breakdowns
  • Electrical and mechanical repairs
  • Quality checks to understand the reasons for machine breakdowns
  • Follow company s Hygiene, Environment, Health and Safety policies, systems, and safe working practices.

Skills and experience required as a Maintenance Technician:

  • Performed maintenance on high-speed machinery
  • PLC understanding
  • Food or Pharmaceutical Industry background
  • Able to read and interpret both electrical schematic and mechanical technical drawings
