A company that are innovators in the design and manufacture of high quality, safety critical products that are responsible for saving lives are looking for a Quality Engineer on a 6 month, fixed term contract basis.

Info about what the role entails

The Quality Engineer ensures materials and products meet legal, business, and customer standards through testing. They inspect products at all production stages, conduct audits, and track RMAs to prevent future issues. Collaboration with the Quality team ensures proper documentation in line with our IMS system.

Requirements of the Quality Engineer

• Monitor QC testing outcomes and promptly raise any concerns to relevant parties, proposing solutions and detailing corrective actions taken
• Execute and oversee all QC Action Plans.
• Collaborate with the Quality Auditor to ensure timely closure of internal and external audit action items.
• Conduct thorough dimensional inspections on all products using manual tools like verniers, callipers, and micrometers.
• Aid in coordinating New Product Introductions (NPIs).
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and inspections for initial and final production runs.
