The Role:

As an experienced Specification Technologist responsibilities include completing customer specifications, providing nutritional information for product launches, handling customer inquiries on product ingredients and safety data and maintaining the Recipe Management system. You will be involved in staying updated on legislative issues, placing new products and raw materials on the production system and maintaining the supplier database. Additionally, you will be required to develop knowledge of key ingredients ensuring compliance with GMO regulations and facilitating end-to-end traceability. Keeping up to date with EU Food Law alerts and Rapid Alerts is also crucial.

A bit about you:

• Bachelor s degree in a food-related field or equivalent experience
• Strong background in writing specifications and technical food standards such as Food Safety and Quality Standards.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with computer data systems like Sage and Creations is essential.
• Exhibit excellent teamwork skills, be analytical and thorough and demonstrate the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Familiar with portal specification systems like QADEX or Foods connected
• Knowledge of auditing and HACCP
• Valid driver's license
