Jacob Rose Recruitment is delighted to be working with our client again to recruit a full time member of staff working in a busy Landscape Centre close to Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

Open 7 days per week in the summer, the centre is looking to recruit a full-time member of staff to deliver to our customers in the local area. The job will combine driving and working in the yard dealing with customers face to face.

Weekend work will be required.

Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will be required to split their time between driving a Hiab vehicle and assisting with day to day duties in the yard. during peak season it will be expected that the main role is driving. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering goods to retail and trade customers
• completing daily safety checks and general compliance requirements
• Serving Trade and Retail Customers, both by phone and in person.
• Stocking the yard with products
• Picking Orders

Local knowledge of the area is preferable. Some heavy lifting will be required. Delivering goods to retail and trade customer driving a hiab vehicle.

Fork lift license will be advantageous.

Category C Licence and Hiab License required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
