If so, Spider are advertising on behalf of a leading supplier of industrial Products who is looking for a Trade Counter and Warehouse Assistant to join their team at their Head Office in Hitchen, Hertfordshire.

About the role:
They are seeking a motivated Trade Counter and Warehouse Assistant who can support our warehouse operations, manage trade counter interactions, and assist our drivers with deliveries from their Head Office in Hitchin. They operate three delivery vans so need someone who can exemplifying their commitment to outstanding customer service and reliable logistics.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Serve customers face-to-face at the trade counter as well as providing BUSE industrial gases at the counter for trade accounts.
•Route planning for multi-drop delivery runs within a 50-mile radius.
•Warehouse management maximising storage space and check in goods from suppliers, including off-hired equipment.
•Oversee daily operations in picking, packing and checking orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
•Utilise our courier service for the timely despatch of products.
•Work closely with internal and external sales teams to meet customer deadlines.
•Provide occasional emergency cover for drivers as needed.
About You:
The ideal Trade Counter and Warehouse Assistant will have prior experience in a Trade Counter Sales, Warehouse operations and logistic planning role, ideally using Maxoptra or similar tool. An interest in welding and engineering is advantageous but not essential. It is essential you have excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and a strong drive to achieve high customer service standards. This is a varied role, so you need to be proactive, flexible approach, with a can-do attitude and ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You will need computer skills as well as a valid UK driving licence.
