CCTV appeal following burglary of Luton home

Bedfordshire Police has released CCTV images of men they would like to speak to following a burglary in Limbury Road, Luton.

At around 1pm on Friday 21 April offenders forced open a window in a property in Limbury Road and searched for valuables.

Officers would like to speak to the men pictured as they believe they may have information that will assist the investigation.

Detective Constable Pawel Karpinski, investigating, said: "The burglars stole jewellery which had great sentimental value to the owner.

"The pair were disturbed by the victim's son returning home to the property and they fled.

"Burglary has a big impact on victims. It isn't only the loss of personal belonging but the violation of someone being in your home, and it can be incredibly scary to catch offenders in the act.

"I would like to appeal to anyone who knows and recognises who these individuals are, please come forward so we can effectively progress with the investigation."

Anyone who can identify the men pictured or have information about the incident is asked to contact DC Pawel Karpinkski via the online reporting tool https://www.beds.police.uk/ro/report/ocr/af/how-to-report-a-crime/ or by calling 101, quoting reference number 40/21110/23.
