Did you witness criminal damage in Hitchin?

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an incident of criminal damage in Hitchin.

At around 215pm on Saturday (August 7), a window was smashed at Cornish Hearts in Market Place.

PC Joe Massey, who is investigating, said: "It was reported that an altercation had occurred nearby, prior to the window being broken.

"I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to please get in touch."
