HCO returns to Hitchin Town Hall with music from the 1920s, a programme originally planned for March 2020.

We are delighted to welcome violinist Callum Smart to perform Vaughan Williams' beautiful and nostalgic Lark Ascending, and conductor Richard Dickins, who brings together music ranging from Holst's Moorside Suite and Warlock's Capriol Suite to Gershwin's Lullaby.

We took inspiration from George Meredith's poem, which inspired Vaughan Williams, and hope that you can join us to enjoy 'the silver chain of sound' that threads through this programme.
