A talented music producer who played Hitchin's Rhythms of the World festival has set up a record label, along with two of his university friends.

Temidayo Boyo, aka 'Masta T' and his two pals, Juniour Adetoye and Philip Olayinka founded Grad Records, with the name coming from 'three graduates, one vision.'

The label was created after the trio reflected on their experiences together, their passion for music and influences from genres such as Pop, Hip-hop, RnB, Afrobeats and Garage.

Juniour and Philip focus on the business while Masta T, as the first artist signed to the label, concentrates on music production and social media.

Speaking to Nub News, the accomplished Master T, 27, from Stevenage, said: "This has been our childhood dream, to make music and be positive role models within the industry.

"After all our hard work, it's so exciting to eventually seeing this dream become reality and put actions in place and get results.

"We are all so proud of what we have achieved together so far and excited to finally have our record label and be able to share our music.

"We have had a huge response from supporters and the grad page is growing by the day."

Grad Records ethos is to support today's artists and future generations in expressing their love of music.

Masta T writes his own music, while recording and working alongside engineers as they hone his sounds for radio and playlists.

Over the last few years, he has already received huge support from 'BBC introducing' dedicated to discovering and supporting new music, including presenter and streamer, Danny Fullbrook, as well as Radio 1 broadcaster and DJ, Jaguar, as he pushes for his break in the music industry.

Masta T has been performing around the UK for the last eight years including Rhythms (ROTW) in Hitchin, where he performed an acoustic set.

Rising star Masta T will be releasing an 'Extended Playlist' later this year under the Grad Records label as well as presenting his first headline show.
