The Stevenage boss is looking forward to sharing a few tales with Boro fans this evening, Thursday [August 17] as Stevenage Community Trust invite you all to An Audience with Steve Evans.

Speaking to Nub News after Boro's impressive 2-1 victory over Cambridge at the Abbey Stadium on Tuesday evening that saw them rise to the heady heights of third place in League One, the club's charismatic boss previewed the event.

"I'm really looking forward to sharing a few stories from my career with the fans - and it's all for a good cause.

"My message would be come along for a fun and enjoyable evening's entertainment - and for a great cause."

Stevenage Community Trust added: "Following their record-breaking season and promotion to EFL League One, as well as their unforgettable FA Cup win against Aston Villa at Villa Park, we are delighted to team up with Steve Evans.

"A true footballing character, who has achieved seven promotions and managed over 1,100 games for various clubs, including the likes of Rotherham United, Peterborough United and Leeds United.

"This is your chance to hear from the Stevenage Football Club Manager.

"Hosted by 3CR Stevenage Commentor, Dean Thompson, who will reminisce with Steve and bring to life his managerial career.

"Not forgetting the SFC fans - there will also be the opportunity take part in a Q&A session."
