Careers Day is huge hit after Lyndhurst Financial Management offer expert guidance to talented teens

A careers day involving a large number of talented teenagers across the Hitchin and Harpenden constituency has been hailed as a huge hit after a renowned money management company provided expert advice to students.

Pupils attended the careers event from St George's School and Roundwood Park School, both in Harpenden, alongside students from Samuel Ryder Academy in St Albans and Robert Barclay Academy in Hoddeson.

Lyndhurst presented to a room of students interested in a career in finance for 30 minutes before taking to their stand to help the next generation understand how to build a career in the finance industry.

Adam Cook, Lyndhurst operations director told Nub News: "It was a fantastic day and encouraging to meet with the potential talent pool for the future of our industry - once again it was a great event with many students attending.

"Some of the engagement from students this year was first class, with relevant and challenging questions about politics and the global economy.

"I was fortunate to have Jo Haigh a Chartered Financial Planner from our Hitchin office helping out alongside our newest recruit in the Hitchin office Kaila Evans-Peters."
