Coming to Hitchin: Coq in a Bun

Yes, you did read that correctly.

Without sounding too much like the Carry On series where double entendres were par for the course, we are of course referring to the popular offering by Hitchin's burger punk rockers Cawsburger.

The popular burger makers - who have recently announced that they are set to move into their own town centre restaurant that is as prime as their beef patties - are renowned for mixing things up.

Previously Nub News have been salivating over their Peanut Butter and Jelly burgers that have been rocking Hitchin and now the burger kings have announced that they will be offering Coq in a Bun at their new eatery.

Cawsburger said: "It's the news you've all been waiting for...Coq in a Bun will be a permanent item on the menu in our new place."

PS Coq is the French for rooster, colloquially used to refer to chicken, from the dish Coq au Vin...
