Hitchin Priory: Home of Monks, Monkeys and Tyrants - Talk

North Herts Museum

UNTIL Wednesday 27th April

Ever wondered about the story of Hitchin Priory?

What we now call Hitchin Priory has its origins in 1317. This talk will explore the building and its grounds, touching on some of the interesting figures and events that have shaped its history. Find out what the site has been used for and about the plants and animals that have called the priory home. Get a closer look at some museum objects that help tell its story.

Join us for an evening talk at North Hertfordshire Museum by Matthew Platt.

27th April, 7.30 - 8.30 pm,

£5 per person including a complimentary tea or coffee

Purchase through the ticket link or drop into the museum and pay at the welcome desk. Places are limited so buy in advance to secure your place.
