Owen Rodbard takes a look at Stevenage FC's transfer window in January so far.
Boro have started the transfer window strongly.
Unlike the summer window, they approached signings early and could go in with a clear plan in mind.
Alex Revell was quick to sign Matty Stevens from Forest Green, Luke Norris from Colchester and Chris Lines from Northampton.
35 year old midfielder Lines is no stranger to League 2. He’s won promotion both times he’s played in the division and has a wealth of experience through a 17 year playing career.
Former amateur boxer Matty Stevens was a player that Boro tried to sign in the summer but to no avail. The Striker netted 25 goals in 44 games while on loan to Kettering in the 17-18 season.
Many fans will be aware of new striker Luke Norris.
Stevenage born and bred and his brother also plays in the youth team. He holds an impressive scoring record at this level and will no doubt be invaluable upfront for the reds.
In other news, Innih Effiong, Femi Akinwande and Marcus Dinanga and have joined Notts County, Darlington and Chesterfield on loan till the end of the season.
Aramide Oteh has also returned to his parent club QPR as a mutual agreement was struck between the two clubs.
