Hitchin's acclaimed Street Food Monthly is set to return tonight for the first time in 2024.

The popular town centre event makes a welcome comeback today, Thursday (May 2) in Market Place - with Street Food Monthly set to take place on the first Thursday of every month until October.

As Hitchin Nub News has consistently covered over the years, the first Street Food Monthly of the year will see the return of Café 77, Amani Kitchen and of course, the legendary Matt Bean's Cantina Carnitas to name but three hugely renowned local vendors - with plenty of succulent options for hungry punters.

Next week's event also intends to be a celebration of Victoria Kevans, the much-loved landlady of The Victoria pub who sadly passed away in January.

Vic played a vital role in starting Street Food Monthly eight years ago, along with Matt Bean and others.
